Capital Improvement Plan
"Let us rise up and build." — Nehemiah 2:18
The purpose of our multi-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is twofold: to anticipate the necessity of updating systems reaching their end-of-life and to address specific facility improvement projects. Facility updates are necessary for systems such as HVAC, sound systems, and parking lots that are reaching their expected end-of-life dates. The cost of these essential updates extends beyond our everyday operating maintenance budget. Additionally, our facility improvements focus on projects that will make our campus more functional and appealing.
Our current priority projects and estimated costs include:

2026Activity Center Sound System Upgrade ($10,000). System performance has degraded since the system was installed over 15 years ago. Subject matter experts advised us that it is more cost-effective to replace the system with the latest technology than attempting to fix antiquated systems. • Education Building/Activity Center Accessibility & Exterior Improvements ($30,000). Install Covered Walkway over existing sidewalk between the Main Building and the Activity Center. • Activity Center Accessibility & Exterior Improvements ($35,000). Install Covered Walkway on East side and renovate the East Double Door Entrance into the gym.

2027Pavilion Fireplace/Firepit Installation ($6000).

2028 Education Building HVAC Replacements ($20,000). This anticipates replacing failing aging systems with more efficient units.

2029Auditorium Interior Renovation ($20,000). This anticipates replacing carpets and applying fresh coat of paint to the walls and doors. • Parking Lot Repaved ($165,000).
